At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and begin a 2-day tour of the El Borj Desert. Ready to admire the unforgettable landscapes of golden dunes?
In an off-roading vehicle, we'll travel through the Berber villages around Agadir and into the desert. Our first stop will be in Tiznit, a town about 80 kilometres (49 miles) south of Agadir, which will surprise you as soon as you arrive, thanks to its historic buildings.
You'll have 30 to 45 minutes of free time to admire its walls, its Great Mosque and to explore its souk and craft stalls. Did you know that Tiznit is famous for its silver jewellery? You won't be able to resist buying some!
Afterwards, we'll travel to Legzira Beach. Located on the Atlantic coast of Morocco, this beautiful beach stands out for its huge rock arches and calm waters reaching the desert sand. In Legzira, we'll have a delicious lunch of chicken or fish tajine.
Feeling refuelled, we'll drive through the desert dunes of El Borj in the off-roading vehicle, one of the highlights of the day. After exploring the beauty of these golden sands, at 5 pm, we'll reach the Berber camp where we'll spend the night.
There, we'll satisfy our appetite with a traditional dinner and enjoy a night show under the stars—the perfect end to the day!
We'll start the day with a traditional Moroccan breakfast in the desert. With this good taste in our mouths, we'll get back in the off-roading vehicle to continue discovering the landscapes of the El Borj Desert.
Afterwards, we'll visit the village of Rasmouka for two hours, a perfect stop to continue learning all about the life of the desert inhabitants. Here, we'll stop at a local's house for lunch that he will prepare for us, including tajine and couscous!
Finally, we'll set off on a journey of between 3 and 3.5 hours to return to the starting point, where we'll drop you off at your hotel at approximately 6 pm.
This tour includes a night of accommodation in a camp with single, double, triple or quadruple haima tents. The camp has shared bathrooms. Each tent can accommodate up to 4 people, depending on your booking.
