Having picked you up from your hotel in Tarapoto at the scheduled time, we'll set off in our minibus to the natural park where the Pucayaquillo Waterfall is located.
Once we have arrived at our destination, we'll hop off the minibus and begin a 45-minute hike through the surrounding area. As we walk through the lush Peruvian jungle, we'll bask in the peaceful environment around us and listen to the joyful birdsong.
Soon enough, the 66-foot (20-meter) high Pucayaquillo Waterfall will appear before our eyes. You'll have 30 minutes of free time here to take a dip and sit on the rocks as the water falls onto your shoulders.
We'll then walk for another 45 minutes to Pumarinri, a lodge nestled in the middle of the jungle with incredible views of the Huallaga River. When we get there, we'll have a main course and a drink for lunch. After we've eaten, you'll have 30 minutes free to swim in the pool at the lodge.
It'll then be time to return to Tarapoto, where we'll drop you off back at your hotel six hours after departure.
