Discover one of Buenos Aires' most important nature reserves in a different and exclusive way by joining us on this boat ride through the Tigre Delta. We'll sail along its rivers and streams and enjoy its typical island buildings.
Activity Details
The Tigre Delta is one of the most beautiful nature reserves in northern Buenos Aires. To explore it, how about taking a boat trip? At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Amarras del Norte pier and board a boat that will take us sailing along the Luján River.
Once we set sail, we'll begin to navigate the Tigre Delta, a region of islands and tributaries that will enchant you with its landscapes and houses, which can only be accessed by water. We'll arrive at the Sarmiento River, where we'll find the historic Casa Museo de Domingo F. Sarmiento. Do you know who he was? We'll tell you about his influence on Argentine education!
Afterwards, we'll continue our private boat trip along the Espera stream, one of the least travelled parts of the Tigre Delta, but one that boasts some of the best examples of the area's biodiversity. We'll continue along other streams, such as Rama Negra and Capitán, where you won't want to miss photographing the typical riverside buildings that we'll encounter along the way.
During the trip, you can enjoy drinks on board and, to enhance the tour, we'll make a 20-minute stop at the Monte Blanco reserve. After this short break, we'll return to the boat and head back to the starting point through a different part of the Tigre Delta.
3 hours later, we'll say goodbye at the meeting point in Tigre.
Important Info
Depending on the day you take the tour, the stop will be at the Domingo F. Sarmiento House Museum (Monday to Thursday) or at the Monte Blanco Reserve (Friday to Sunday).
