On this boat excursion to the island of Kekova, we'll visit one of the most amazing places on the coast of Turkey and swim in the crystal clear waters of the bays of Burc, Aquarium, Gökkaya, or Esmeralda.
Kekova Boat Excursion
We'll meet at Kaleüçağız Street in Ucagiz at the appointed time and set course to the harbor, where we'll board a boat that will take us to Kekova Island. Are you ready to get to know one of the most beautiful and unknown areas of the Turkish coast? Let's set sail!
Departing from Ucagiz, we'll start sailing through the Mediterranean waters that envelop Turkey. The first stop will be at Aquarium Bay, a heavenly spot near Kekova where you can take a refreshing dip. Also, here you can satisfy your appetite with a delicious meal on board.
Then, we'll return to the boat and reach the submerged city, a place full of history on the shores of Kekova. The ancient town of Dolchiste was flooded by an earthquake in the 2nd century. We'll see the underwater ruins of this ancient locality and sail around it to discover truly magical areas.
Afterwards, we'll continue the boat tour and approach Burc Bay, a natural area where you can swim and enjoy crystal-clear waters. The next stop will be the pirates' cave and the Gökkaya and Esmeralda bays, two dreamy locations where we'll anchor to explore the seabed.
Lastly, we'll reach the port of Kekova, where you'll have an hour of free time to stroll through the streets of this town and discover one of its great treasures – Simena Castle. With your camera roll full of pictures, we'll return to the boat and start our way back to Ucagiz.
We'll end the excursion back at the meeting point after seven hours of exploring the Turkish seas.
