Admire the beautiful landscapes of Tierra del Fuego with this horseback ride in Escondido Lake, which also includes a transfer from Ushuaia.
Activity Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Ushuaia to set off to the famous Escondido Lake. We'll take the Ruta Nacional 3, where we'll cross the valley of Tierra del Fuego and the Andes mountain range through the renowned Paso Garibaldi.
The journey will include a gaucho refuge at Escondido Lake. This will be the starting point for our lovely 1-hour horseback ride. We'll assign you a Creole horse that best suits you, and after placing the mounts, we'll begin. Giddy up!
Throughout this horseback ride of 1, 2, or 3 hours, depending on the option you choose, we'll step into the Fuengian subantarctic forest, where we'll discover the botanical species of Tierra del Fuego. Plus, we'll reach the shores of Escondido Lake so the horses can drink water as we admire the surrounding forests, valleys, and mountains.
We'll return to the refuge to end our horseback ride, where a delicious snack awaits, consisting of a typical dessert accompanied by an infusion.
Afterward, we'll start our journey back to Ushuaia, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 4 to 7 hours, depending on the duration of the horseback ride that you selected.
Argentine Asado
During the booking process, you can choose the option that includes an Argentine asado after the horseback ride. Talk about an authentic way to wrap up this activity!
The menu includes a picada of salamis and cheeses, chorizos, roast beef with salad, and drinks. You'll also enjoy a typical dessert with a coffee.
