At the indicated time, we’ll meet at the Panoramabahn Schönbrunn, the train stop located inside the palace grounds. From there, the Christmas train departs to take you through the Schönbrunn gardens. Hop on, we’re off to enjoy a magical ride!
This immense green space, a World Heritage Site, is one of the finest examples of Baroque landscape design in Europe. As you travel on Vienna’s Christmas train, you’ll pass key points around the gardens, such as the Imperial Carriage Museum and the Hietzing Gate.
During the 30-minute route, you’ll be captivated by the charming Christmas lights decorating the gardens, and carols will be playing so you can feel the atmosphere of the most magical time of the year in the Austrian capital. You’ll also be accompanied by an English audio guide that will reveal all the secrets of this place.
In addition, with your ticket, you’ll have the freedom to hop on and off the train as many times as you like, allowing you to enjoy the Christmas market and explore the Schönbrunn Palace gardens at your own pace.
