Explore the beautiful surroundings of Villa Rica on our day trip to Chanchamayo and San Ramón. We'll gaze out at breathtaking views, try some tasty coffee and go swimming.
Chanchamayo & San Ramón Day Trip
At 8 am, we'll meet up on Avenida Leopoldo Krausse and set off for our first destination of the day. Let's explore the surroundings of Villa Rica!
On our tour through the province of Chanchamayo, we'll visit some of its most incredible attractions. We'll leave Villa Rica behind and cross the Kimiri Bridge to head towards San Ramón, the first city built in this central jungle area and the capital of the district of the same name.
When we get there, we'll take a guided tour of its historic centre and then venture into the heart of the Chanchamayo Valley. We'll visit a local hacienda and learn more about this part of Peru's agricultural traditions. While we're here, you'll be able to try some of their organic products, such as coffee.
Next, we'll pass through the town of La Merced on our way to the La Cruz Viewpoint. From here, we'll gaze out at fantastic views of the Tirol Waterfall.
Afterwards, we'll stop for a tasty typical lunch that'll include a main course with meat such as cecina, tacacho or chorizo and a natural juice.
Once you've had something to eat, we'll make our way to the Don Bosco pool. You'll have some free time here to swim or explore the beautiful surroundings.
We'll then return to San Ramón and give you some free time to go shopping and browse souvenirs.
As our adventure comes to an end, we'll take you back to Villa Rica and say goodbye at the pickup point at 4 pm.
