On this day trip to Nova Almeida, we'll travel along the mountainous coastline of Espírito Santo to discover its historical, cultural and natural sites. We'll visit everything from the Church of the Three Wise Men to a quindim shop!
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel or Vitória Airport to begin this day trip to Nova Almeida, located an hour from the city.
Our first stop will be at the imposing Church of the Three Kings, built during the colonial period. We'll admire one of the most important landmarks of Jesuit faith and architecture in the state of Espírito Santo. Did you know that it was also a prison? We'll tell you the whole story there!
From there, we'll continue on to the fascinating cliffs of Marbela, natural rock formations that line the coast. It's a spectacular landscape, ideal for taking beautiful souvenir photos.
To round off the tour, we'll visit a production facility for Nova Almeida's traditional quindim, an artisanal sweet that represents the cultural heritage and flavour of the local cuisine. This type of flan is made with egg yolk, sugar and grated coconut.
Finally, we'll make our way back to the starting point, where we'll say goodbye after a total of 4.5 hours.
