Arlington Cemetery & DC Highlights Tour Itinerary
On the morning of your tour, you'll meet at the US Navy Memorial, where you'll begin your guided route around some of the most important war memorials in Washington DC. As well as admiring the city's skyline from your luxury air-conditioned bus, you'll stop along your tour to see the sights up close.
Accompanied by your professional guide, who will keep you entertained and informed about the monuments, you'll visit the grounds of the US Capitol Building and the White House. You'll also make a stop to contemplate the Lincoln Memorial, the Korean, Vietnam, and Second World War Memorials, and the Martin Luther King Jr Memorial.
Arriving at the Arlington National Cemetery, located in the state of Virginia, you'll embark on a trolley tour around the site. This tour includes an audioguide narration of the cemetery, and makes different stops depending on the day of the week. On weekdays, you'll see the grave site of President John F. Kennedy, the US Coast Guard Memorial, US Army General John J. Pershing's grave site, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and Arlington House, or the Robert E. Lee Memorial. On weekends, you'll also visit the September 11 Memorial.
