Birdwatching Tour from Asunción
When making your booking, you'll be able to choose from two different options. They both include pickup from your hotel in Asunción and drop off.
Asunción Bay Birdwatching Tour (4 hours)
If you don't have much time to spare, this is the perfect tour for you! We'll head to the Paraguay River and make our way to Asunción Bay and the Banco San Miguel Reserve to try and spot some of this area's birds. This river boasts fantastic biodiversity, as numerous migratory birds pass through here.
Schedule: this tour runs from Monday to Friday at 6 am.
Benjamín Aceval Birdwatching Tour (8 hours)
Let's head for the town of Benjamín Aceval! After making a stop for breakfast, we'll arrive at our destination. We'll head to the Estancia La Rafaela, where we'll discover the fantastic biodiversity of the birds at these wetlands and grasslands. We'll spot limpkins, maguari storks, jabirus, Brazilian ducks, herons, red-billed suiriri flycatchers and more!
We'll stop for lunch at the Hotel-Escuela Cerrito and continue basking in nature before taking you back to your hotel in Asunción.
