Take a breath of fresh air on this hiking route through Pedra Grande, one of the main natural monuments in Atibaia. Immerse yourself in Brazil's natural wonder!
Hike Pedra Grande
We'll meet along Avenida Santana in Atibaia to set off towards nearby Pedra Grande, a favorite hill among local mountaineers in this region.
As we arrive at the starting point of the Minha Deusa path, we'll start an invigorating hiking route up to Pedra Grande. During our hike, which has a medium-high difficulty level, we'll trek along for about 2 hours, climbing and traversing 700 meters (2,296 feet) of terrain. With our destination in mind, we'll also stop to enjoy the journey and take in the beautiful natural wonder that surrounds us on our way.
Once we summit Pedra Grande, we'll be treated to an awe-inspiring view of Atibaia from above, with its expansive and abundantly lush green landscapes. We'll make the most of the elevated vantage point to learn about the origins of the Serra do Itapetininga mountains, home to the natural monument along this route.
After relishing in this natural marvel, we'll begin our descent journey with 2 hours of free time to enjoy lunch in this scenic setting. Don't forget to pack your picnic lunch! Feel free to stroll along the nearby trails, immersing yourself in the stunning natural beauty of the Atlantic Forest.
We'll all come back together to begin hiking back down the Minha Deusa route. From here, we'll bring you back to the meeting point in Atibaia after 5 to 6 hours of natural adventure.
