We'll pick you up from your hotel in Atibaia for a short journey to arrive at a strawberry farm on the city's outskirts.
Upon arriving, we'll tour the farm grounds and learn how these delicious berries are planted and cultivated, from seed to fruit. The local farmers will share with us the intricate cultivation details, including how much water, light, and temperatures are necessary for a good harvest. Given the delicate and sensitive nature of the fruit, it demands a great deal of attention and meticulous care.
Next, we'll learn how to differentiate the different classes of strawberries, specifically cultivated in Brazil. Then, we'll try our hand at harvesting and join the farmers in strawberry picking. Remember that this activity takes place outdoors from June to October. However, from November to May, we'll go into a greenhouse to do the picking.
Hard work brings its own rewards, so after our harvest, we'll indulge in a delightful strawberry tasting. The sweet, luscious taste of these strawberries will be a true delight for your palate, allowing you to savor the exquisite flavors of this locally-grown product in southern Brazil.
We'll bring our farming adventure to a close 2 hours after pickup and take you back to your hotel in Atibaia.

If you are staying in hotels located more than 8 kilometers (4.9 miles) from the center of Atibaia, you must go to the Atibaia cable car at the indicated time.
