Experience the nocturnal magic of the Patagonian forest on this hike along Cerro López, where you'll enjoy a dinner in the Roca Negra refuge.
Night Hike Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Bariloche and head to the base of Cerro López, the starting point of our nocturnal adventure. Make sure your shoes are tied—it's time to hike!
We'll begin this ascent hike along a marked path, surrounded by a lush lenga beech and coigue forest, two characteristic trees from the region. The hike during this first part will last approximately 1 hour. We'll ascend as the sun casts golden hues over the mountain landscape.
On our hike, we'll see closeby hills, and before you know it, we'll reach the Roca Negra refuge. Here, we'll stop to enjoy a cheese and chocolate fondue, accompanied by a drink. As you enjoy these delicacies, you'll admire the immense Patagonian night over Nahuel Huapi Lake. Beautiful!
After dinner, we'll prepare our flashlights for the descent. We'll start our hike on a trail that's now surrounded by a profound silence, only interrupted by the crunch of leaves as we walk. The experience of walking in darkness will immerse you in the magical atmosphere of the mountain in a unique way.
Finally, once we reach the base, we'll start our journey back to Bariloche, where we'll drop you off at your hotel after a total of 4 hours.
