On this day trip from Chivay, we'll visit the Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve, as well as Puno. Adventure awaits!
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Chivay, and from there, we'll head south. Are you ready to discover this fascinating Peruvian inland?
The first stop will be at the Andean viewpoint of Pata Pampa, where we'll enjoy magnificent views of the volcanic mountain range. After enjoying the panoramic views, we'll continue our route towards the Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve, whose beautiful landscapes will captivate you from beginning to end!
In this protected natural area, we'll see large populations of llamas, vicuñas, alpacas and other animals native to the Andean region. In addition to the wildlife, we'll also learn about the environmental features that make this area so unique. The route will then continue to Patahuasi, where those who wish can drink an Inca mate to combat altitude sickness.
We'll take advantage of the stop in Patahuasi to observe the Misti and Chachani volcanoes from afar. After capturing their landscapes, we'll go to Lake Lagunillas to try to spot its flamingos and Andean gulls.
Finally, after 6 hours of sightseeing, we'll conclude the tour at the Plaza de Armas of Puno.
