Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Córdoba and set off on this day trip through the picturesque villages of the Sierras Chicas. We guarantee that you won't be able to stop taking photos of the incredible mountainous landscapes of this region.
First, we'll travel to La Calera, a town surrounded by nature whose rich history will leave you completely enchanted. We'll stroll through its streets to see some of its tourist attractions, such as the Old Chapel, built by the Society of Jesus in the 18th century, and the Molino Doble. It's a true local icon!
From here, we'll head towards the Malpaso Dam, an imposing dam built on the Primero River. We'll continue travelling along the Sierras Chicas, passing through some of the most notable towns in this mountain range, such as Saldán, Villa Allende, Mendiolaza and Unquillo. Did you know that the latter has served as inspiration for numerous artists?
We'll stop at Río Ceballos, a charming village located at the foot of Cerro Ñu Porra. There, we'll visit one of its main attractions: the Cristo Ñu Porra. Get ready to see one of the best panoramic views of the Sierras Chicas!
Lastly, we'll go to the La Quebrada Dam, a Provincial Water Reserve built with the aim of supplying drinking water to the municipalities in the area, as well as regulating the flooding of the Río Ceballos.
Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Córdoba and end the day trip after 4 hours.
