At the selected time, we'll meet at Plaza de Armas to begin an exciting sightseeing tour of Cusco. Ready to discover the charms of the ancient Inca capital in a comfortable, different and fun way? Off we go!
Before boarding the bus, we'll have a 45-minute walking tour of the Imperial City of Cusco, visiting the temple of Qoricancha, the golden enclosure of the Incas. We'll pass by the imposing Great Historical Mural, painted by the Cusco artist Juan Bravo Vizcarra. We'll follow the route on foot along the Avenida El Sol until we reach the station, where we'll board the bus for the sightseeing tour.
We'll travel to the Statue of Christ, from where we'll enjoy privileged views of the historic capital of Peru. We'll continue the scenic tour, where, before you know it, we'll get to witness the typical dances of Paucartambo. Here, we'll also discuss the most important characters of this tradition, like MajeƱo, Pablitos and Saqras. You'll learn all kinds of curious facts about the culture of Cusco!
The next stop will be at the Huayllarcocha Lagoon, where we'll attend a folkloric show representing the capture of Kukuli. Finally, we'll go to a restaurant for a class on how to prepare a pisco sour, one of Peru's most famous drinks. Of course, we'll also get to taste it for ourselves!
After 5 hours of experiencing the culture of Cusco, we'll finish the tour at the starting point.
