At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your Cusco hotel and head to the Cochahuasi Animal Sanctuary. Are you ready to meet some of Peru's most iconic species? Let's go!
After approximately 30 minutes of travel, we'll arrive at the rescue center and begin a guided tour lasting 45–60 minutes. During the visit, we'll hear the moving stories of the animals that live here and learn about the efforts to conserve Andean wildlife.
You'll have the chance to admire the majestic Andean condor, observe pumas, spectacled bears, monkeys, turtles, exotic birds, and many other rescued species. In certain areas, you may even interact with some animals under the supervision of the sanctuary's experts.
After the guided tour, you'll have 15–20 minutes of free time to explore the sanctuary at your own pace, take photos, and visit the gift shop.
Finally, we'll return to Cusco, dropping you off at your hotel approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes after pickup.
This tour includes hotel pickup in central Cusco. If you are staying outside this area, we'll meet at the Plaza de Armas.
