Inkilltambo Hiking Tour
At the indicated time we'll pick you up at your hotel in Cuzco and head towards the archaeological complex of Inkilltambo. Before reaching our destination, we'll make a stop so that, if you want, you can visit the ruins of Tambomachay and Qenko.
Then, we'll arrive at the archaeological park of Saqsayhuaman, where we'll set off to find the ruins of Inkilltambo, an Inca sanctuary carved into the igneous rock.
We'll embark on a two-hour hiking route crossing streams, mountains, and cactus and eucalyptus forests until we reach Inkilltambo. Once we arrive, we'll visit its different constructions, such as the ceremonial huacas and the Inca Palace, recently renovated.
After visiting one of the most beautiful archaeological sites in Cuzco, we'll take a break to enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by nature.
With our strength restored, we'll continue walking and admiring the vegetation that occupies the ruins. We'll pass by the terraces of Kallachaka, an enigmatic set of pyramidal figures formed by rings, whose mysteries we'll try to uncover.
At the end of the road, the bus will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cuzco, where we'll arrive four to five hours after pickup.
