What better way to tour the Sacred Valley of the Incas than on a quad bike? With this tour through Perolniyoc and Raqaypata, you'll be able to drive these powerful all-terrain vehicles next to waterfalls and archaeological ruins.
Activity Details
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and head to the Sacred Valley of the Incas in a comfortable car or minibus. After a drive of approximately 1.5 hours, we'll arrive at the quad biking camp in Pachar. Here, we'll give you an introductory talk about how to drive the vehicles, followed by a quick practice.
Immediately after, we'll get on the quad bikes and drive for about 40 minutes to the community of Socma. From here, we'll walk for about 45 minutes to the impressive Perolniyoc Waterfall, a natural jewel that was also a ceremonial site for the Incas. It will blow your mind!
Here, you'll have free time to enjoy the scenery and refuel with a snack, consisting of a sandwich, fruit, an energy bar and water. Afterwards, you can decide if you want to continue for another 1.5-hour hike to the Inca ruins of Raqaypata, located at the top of the canyon.
After exploring the archaeological complex of Raqaypata, we'll return the way we came and get back on the quads to return to the camp. From there, we'll head back to Cusco and, on the way, we'll make a last stop at Ñaupa Iglesia. This Inca temple, famous for its perfectly carved altars, hides legends and mysteries that will fascinate you.
Finally, we'll return to your hotel and say our goodbyes after between 9 and 10 hours in total.
