On this Halifax and Peggy's Cove Tour, we'll visit the most emblematic places of the capital of Nova Scotia and one of Canada's most photographed lighthouses.
Description
At the indicated time we'll pick you up from your hotel in Halifax and embark on a tour of Nova Scotia's capital city and its most iconic sights.
Before visiting the city, we'll head to the picturesque fishing village of Peggy's Cove, less than an hour's drive from Halifax. Along the way, we'll reveal loads of interesting facts about the place. For example, did you know that a plane crashed there in 1998?
Once in Peggy's Cove, you'll be able to have your photo taken with its famous lighthouse in the background, considered one of the most beautiful in Canada. You'll also have free time to visit this coastal town. We recommend popping into the coquette shops and sitting on the benches on the boardwalk to relax with views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Afterwards, we'll head back to Halifax to visit Citadel Hill, where we'll discover its military history and see a re-enactment of the Highlanders, the Scottish settlers dressed in 19th-century uniforms.
After seeing Citadel Hill, we'll continue our tour of downtown Halifax by car. We'll pass some of the highlights, including the Titanic Cemetery, City Gardens, Pier 21, Halifax Farmers Market and Point Pleasant Park.
After 4 hours of activity, we'll say goodbye and leave you at the starting point.
