Rafting Details
What are you waiting for to experience one of Alaska’s greatest adventures? We’ll meet at the Silvertip Station public parking lot, next to the Seward Highway. Once everyone has arrived, we’ll check in and get ready for our rafting trip down Sixmile Creek. Let’s get started!
We’ll board a shuttle bus that will take us to the starting point, where the rafts we’ll use to navigate Sixmile Creek will be waiting for us.
There, after hearing the final safety instructions, we’ll board the rafts and begin this incredible journey through Alaska’s most challenging whitewater. During the trip, you’ll get your adrenaline pumping as you navigate the pristine wilderness of the Chugach National Forest.
This 3-hour rafting adventure takes place along Class IV rapids, a section of accessible waters on Sixmile Creek. This creek flows through two consecutive canyons, offering you incredible scenery featuring narrow passages, steep drops, and waves crashing against the rocks. Plus, when you reach the calmer section, you’ll be able to admire the serenity that characterizes this river’s semi-wild gorge. It will be unforgettable!
When you reach the endpoint, we’ll be waiting for you with the bus to take you back to the starting point. Perfect for those looking for an unparalleled adrenaline rush in Alaska!
