Discover a spectacular landscape at over 12,000 feet above sea level when you take this fantastic trip to the Lakes of Llanganuco. You will discover some of Peru's most beautiful hidden treasures of nature.
At the scheduled time, we'll meet on Calle Jirón 28 de Julio 710, and once we're all together, we will pick you up at your hotel in Huaraz before heading to the Llanganuco lagoons, a beautiful paradise in the Huascaran National Park which will leave you speechless.
First, we will make a stop to enjoy views of the majestic peaks of Huanday, Hualcan, and Huascaran. Did you know that the latter rises to more than 22,000 ft above sea level? This is a sight you will never forget.
When we arrive at Huascaran National Park, we will go directly to the famous lakes of Llanganuco: Chinancocha and Orconcocha. There, you will have one hour of free time to explore these glacial lakes in the Cordillera Blanca of Peru at your own pace. You have the opportunity to take a fantastic horse ride or sail along the idyllic waters in a boat.
We will then take you to Caraz, where you will have free time to have something to eat. You can enjoy the delicious local cuisine. After lunch, we will spend half an hour visiting different local bakeries to learn all about the traditional sweets of the region.
On the way back to Huaraz, we will stop in the district of Tarica to see its traditional crafts. Finally, our brilliant trip finishes as we arrive back at the meeting point at around 8 pm.
