At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in the centre of La Rioja and head west to explore some of the region's most captivating spots. Our journey begins with a visit to the scenic residential area, Las Padercitas, the stunning Quebrada, the Túnel, and the Dique Los Sauces.
From here, the adventure will truly begin as we ascend the Sierra de Velasco in a rugged 4x4 vehicle. Navigating a winding and rocky cornice road, we'll reach the summit of the mountain. Here, we'll pause to take in breathtaking panoramic views of the city of La Rioja, the dam, the charming town of Sanagasta, and the vast plains stretching out before us.
This remarkable location also offers the thrill of watching paragliders and hang gliders launch from a nearby runway. You'll be mesmerised as these daring flyers take to the skies, showcasing their skills in this exhilarating setting.
