At the indicated time, we'll meet at the port of Mahon, where we'll board a boat and set sail to explore the idyllic east coast of Menorca. Are you ready to fall in love with this part of the island?
As we sail along, we'll see historical gems such as Lazareto Island, a former hospital dating back to 1793 that housed sailors in quarantine. We'll also see the majestic fortress on the Mola peninsula, built by Queen Isabella II to protect the entrance to the port, and Rey Island, where one of the first British naval hospitals was founded.
The boat trip will take us along the east coast of Menorca, where the blue of the sea blends with the golden tones of the cliffs. Depending on the wind, we'll head north to Sa Mesquida Beach or south to the idyllic cove of Binibeca, famous for its fine sand and transparent waters that resemble a natural swimming pool.
There, we'll anchor for an hour, and you'll have free time to swim and relax on deck, rocked by the sound of the waves. The boat also has a bar, where you can enjoy typical Menorcan drinks, snacks and soft drinks at your own expense.
On the return journey, we'll enjoy commentary on the history and secrets of the port of Mahon, while the Mediterranean Sea takes on golden hues. An unforgettable trip around the most serene side of Menorca!
