Horseback Riding in Mallín Grande
We'll start the horse ride from an equestrian centre in Mallín Grande. At this place, located next to the CH-265 road, we'll meet at the time of your choice.
The centre's instructors will give you a brief 20-minute talk in which show you the ropes, in this case, the reins, so that you learn how ride safely and comfortably. You don't need any previous riding experience, so you can start from scratch to enjoy this unforgettable experience. After this initial training, we'll start the horseback ride!
The equestrian route, which will be of low difficulty and will last three hours, will run through the surroundings of Mallín Grande. Following in the footsteps of the old muleteers, we'll ride through a beautiful area of Chilean Patagonia surrounded by coigües forests.
We'll continue our ride on horseback along the shores of General Carrera Lake, the largest lake in Chile. We'll stop at different viewpoints to better appreciate the immensity of this colossal Patagonian lake.
We'll take advantage of one of these breaks to have a snack including a cereal bar, nuts and juice or mineral water, whichever you prefer. After this refreshment, we'll continue riding through other beautiful areas on the shores of the lake.
Finally, we'll conclude the tour by returning to the starting point.
