We'll pick you up from your hotel in Manaus at the indicated time and, without wasting any time, we'll take you to the Museu da Amazônia. Ready to explore the native forest of Manaus?
First, we'll visit the O Lenhador restaurant where you can get yourself some lunch. Feeling refuelled, we'll go in search of the Museu da Amazônia, also known as MUSA.
Once there, we'll take a walk along the trails and discover the enormous richness of this ecosystem while strolling in the middle of the forest. Butterflies, turtles, fish... These will be just some of our companions during the tour.
We'll also visit the orchidarium, the bromeliarium and the aquarium, where we'll learn about their conservation and importance for the ecosystem of the area. We'll also visit the reptilarium, where we'll be able to observe different species of snakes endemic to the Amazon.
Do you want more? To end our visit to the museum and the forest reserve, we'll go up to an observatory 42 metres (137 ft) high, from where we'll be able to admire the Brazilian Amazon in all its splendour.
But that's not all, we'll watch the sunset from this viewpoint to take the best pictures of one of the most biodiverse places in the world—it's beautiful!
Finally, we'll take you back to your hotel in Manaus after 6 hours of discovering the fascinating flora of the Amazon.
