Enjoy the beautiful natural landscapes surrounding Pic Saint-Loup on this excursion from Montpellier. You'll also taste the excellent wines produced in Languedoc!
At the indicated time, we'll set out from downtown Montpellier toward the summit of Saint-Loup, one of the most prominent mountains in Languedoc-Roussillon.
We'll walk through the surroundings of this famous peak, taking in extraordinary natural landscapes with great botanical and geological diversity. You'll learn about the area's main plants, trees, rocks and minerals, and even be able to see the neighboring Hortus Causse mountains in the distance.
The tour will also take us through the area's extensive vineyards, where we'll learn about the different types of grapes grown in this Occitan region in the south of France. After all, we'll be in one of the main wine-growing areas of Languedoc!
Our last stop will be at a local winery, where we'll get to enjoy a tasting of Languedoc wines. We'll put our taste buds to the test with different kinds of Grand Crus, the most select and exclusive varieties. You'll become an expert in no time!
With the pleasant taste of these wines still on our palates, we’ll finally return to Montpellier. We’re scheduled to arrive back at the starting point 4 hours after pickup.
