Activity Details
We’ll pick you up at your hotel in Moyobamba to begin this hiking adventure that will take us through two stunning natural landscapes. We'll travel by vehicle to the Soritor district—about an hour and a half—while enjoying beautiful views along the way.
Our first stop will be near Selva Alegre, where we’ll start a 20-minute hike. This pleasant walk offers a chance to admire the rich flora and fauna of northern Peru. We’ll even come across a small sulfurous waterfall!
When we arrive at the Aguas Calientes and Frías waterfalls, you’ll see what makes them so unique. A cold waterfall, about 8 meters high, flows into three natural hot spring pools with temperatures between 26 and 35°C (78.8–95°F). You’ll have time to relax and take a refreshing dip.
Afterward, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch featuring a typical regional dish and a soft drink. Reenergized, we’ll continue to the Piscina de los Reyes, which we’ll reach after a 15-minute walk through lush greenery. Here, you can soak in the calm of its clear, tranquil pools.
After eight hours surrounded by nature, we’ll begin the return journey and drop you off at your hotel in Moyobamba.
