At 10 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Moyobamba and head to Morro de Calzada, where we'll go on an unforgettable hiking route. Let the adventure begin!
Upon arrival, we'll start walking through one of the most famous natural enclaves of the Alto Mayo. We'll ascend more than 500 meters up Morro de Calzada while we tell you about the peculiarities of the cloud forest of the high jungle, where there are several ecosystems.
We'll make a stop at the Interpretation Center, where we'll learn the characteristics of the fauna and flora of Morro de Calzada through photos and infographics. Some endemic species of this area include the pichico monkey, the titi monkey, and the barn owl.
Then, we'll return to the hiking route and discover the legends that persist in Alto Mayo, such as that of the stone man, which is sure to leave you speechless!
In the final stretch of the excursion, we'll visit the Silla del Curaca viewpoint and the Allcamayo waterfall, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in its waters. In addition, we'll replenish our strength by having a delicious lunch consisting of a typical Peruvian dish.
Finally, we'll finish the tour by returning to your hotel in Moyobamba at 2 pm.
