Come to explore the architecture and picturesque canals in Portogruaro on this guided tour. A historical route in the region of Veneto awaits you!
Tour Details
We'll meet at the designated time at the Tourist Information Point and, once we've all arrived, we'll begin our walking tour of Portogruaro. Ready to get to know this town in the Metropolitan City of Venice?
During the guided visit, we'll discuss the town's Venetian architecture and canals until we reach the shores of the Lemene River. Here, we'll get to see the old Sant'Andrea windmills, which used to be the economic centre of Portogruaro and now offer the best views of the town. Photo time!
Next, we'll walk past the Duomo de Sant'Andrea, a neoclassical church that we'll admire from the outside, with a particular focus on its leaning bell tower. Throughout the tour, we'll also provide many anecdotes and fun facts about the town's history and the people who lived here.
Lastly, after getting to know Portogruaro's charms, this 30-minute tour will come to an end back at our initial meeting point.
Tour + Aperitif
Hungry? If you select this tour option, we'll go on the same tour mentioned in the previous section and, once the visit has come to an end, we'll give you a voucher for a Venetian aperitif at a local spot. What a great way to end the tour!
