On this visit to the Villa Bogdano 1880 winery, we'll explore a historic estate in the heart of DOCG Lison (Controlled and Guaranteed Designation of Origin) and enjoy a tasting of its wines.
Welcome to the Villa Bodgano 1880 winery! After meeting at the entrance to the estate, we'll begin a visit to its facilities. Get ready to explore this unique spot between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea!
Throughout the tour, we'll learn about the history of Villa Bogdano, whose origins date back to the 16th and 17th centuries. We'll also walk through the vineyards and forest, home to a rich biodiversity of fauna and flora.
Afterwards, we'll stop by the historic winery, where we'll get to know the ancient concrete tanks, used to this day to preserve the wines' authenticity and quality.
The experience will culminate in an elegant hall in the villa, where we'll indulge in a tasting. Throughout it, we'll explore the nuances of 3 wines produced on the estate, such as Tocai Friulano, Refosco Dal Pedúnculo Rosso, and other local variations. The tasting will also be accompanied by breadsticks and baked products, ideal to pair with the wines' flavours and aromas.
