As soon as you arrive at the airport or bus station in Puerto Maldonado, your guide will be waiting to take you to your accommodation, located in the heart of the Tambopata National Park. After dropping off your luggage, we'll have lunch and go for a walk along the trails. We'll see birds, turtles, monkeys and other animals. At sunset, we'll enjoy a unique sunset while taking a boat ride. We'll have dinner and rest until the next day.
We'll enjoy breakfast until 9:30 am, to start a trekking route towards the Sandoval Lake. Accompanied by the guide, we'll walk 3 kilometres through the Tambopata Amazon jungle, discovering much more about its fauna and flora. Tarantulas, snakes, squirrels, otters, herons, alligators... We'll return to the cabins for lunch and, in the evening, take a short night walk. We'll have dinner and... go to sleep!
We'll get up early for breakfast and head to the parrot and macaw clay lick at 4:15 am. An incredible bird-watching experience! At dawn, we'll begin to see dozens of parrots arriving at a clay wall to feed. We'll take advantage of the day to go fishing in Lake Anaconda. After the excursion, we'll return to the cabins and, with a bit of luck, see some sloth bear. The day will end taking you back to the Puerto Maldonado airport or the bus station.
The circuit includes accommodation in private cabins near the Madre de Dios River, with full board. Lunches and dinners include a starter, a main course, dessert and non-alcoholic drinks. Breakfast includes juice, coffee, eggs, fried bananas and other products.
