Travel back in time to ancient Gaul when you visit the archaeological site of Glanum. With this ticket, you can explore all the fascinating ruins of what was once an important Roman city.
The archaeological site of Glanum, located just a short distance from the beautiful town of Saint Rémy de Provence, was an ancient Roman city that enjoyed its greatest splendor in the 2nd century AD.
With this ticket, you'll have access to the famous Gallic ruins, and you'll be able to see Les Antiques, a monument complex consisting of a triumphal arch and a mausoleum.
You'll also have the opportunity to visit the so-called twin temples, built between 30 and 20 AD, which were thought to be dedicated to the imperial cult.
During the excavations, two marble portraits of the wife and daughter of Emperor Augustus were found here. You can't leave without first taking a stroll through the residential area and the amazing thermal baths.
Glanum archaeological site opens from Tuesday to Sunday at the following times:
Final admission is always 45 minutes before closing time.
Please keep in mind that these times are flexible and subject to change.
Admission to the Glanum Archaeological is free for the following individuals:
Admission is free for everyone on the first Sunday of the month between January 1st and March 31st and between November 1st and December 31st. It is also free to enter on the 3rd weekend in September.
In order to acquire the free admission mentioned above, you'll have to go to the site's ticket office and present a certifying document of your eligibility for a free ticket.
