Explore the picturesque town of Villa La Angostura by traveling through the scenic Seven Lakes Road, considered one of the most stunning routes in the Argentinean Patagonia.
At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in downtown San Martin de los Andes to begin our tour on the Seven Lakes Road, also known as Route 40. This unique route, stretching over 100 kilometers (62 miles), crosses the Lanin and Nahuel Huapi National Parks, offering breathtaking views of the Andean forests and the Neuquén lakes.
As we travel, we'll witness the beauty of Machónico, Falkner, Villarino, Escondido, Correntoso, Espehi, and Nahuel Huapi lakes, nestled in lush forests and surrounded by majestic snow-capped peaks.
Next, we'll arrive at Villa La Angostura, a charming town situated on the stunning Nahuel Huapi Lake. The town is known as the "Garden of Patagonia" for its picturesque gardens. We'll provide you with free time to enjoy lunch in the town's charming center.
After lunch, we'll head to Puerto Manzano, an area known for its lakes, rivers, and mountains that offer activities such as skiing, snowboarding, and fishing. Here, we'll tour the area and admire its striking architecture, set against the backdrop of Manzano Bay's stunning views.
Before returning to Seven Lakes Road, we'll explore the residential neighborhoods along the Correntoso and Nahuel Huapi lakes to capture some of the best views of the day.
We'll arrive back in San Martin de los Andes around 6 pm and drop you back off at your hotel.
