At the designated time, we'll meet at Via San Antonio in Monteleone Rocca Doria to undertake the famous Via Ferrata Della Regina. Prepare yourself for an exhilarating experience for the most adventurous!
As soon as we arrive, the instructor will give you a brief safety chat and provide all the necessary equipment for the activity. After ensuring that everything is in order, we'll begin a 20-minute walk down an easy path without significant elevation changes until we reach the via ferrata.
Once we're at the first wall, we'll begin with the initial section, which includes a spectacular 25-metre (82-foot) drop. If you prefer, you'll be able to opt for an easier alternative path to bypass this part. Afterwards, the route will become more accessible, combining easy sections with more exciting ones, where you can test your skill and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
The culminating point of our adventure will be a 15-metre (49-foot) Tibetan-style bridge, an experience which will make you feel as if you're floating in the air as we cross. The best part? The scenic views of Lake Temo!
After 1.5 hours, our time on the via ferrata will come to an end, and we'll return back, descending down a path until we reach our original meeting point in Monteleone Rocca Doria. We'll arrive here after a total of 2.5 hours.
