Tour Details
We'll meet at your selected meeting point and, after a brief introduction, head to the pier where your boat will be waiting. From there, we'll set off on a scenic cruise along the stunning coastline of Scalea, in search of its most breathtaking sights.
Our first destination is Dino Island, the largest of Calabria’s two islands. We'll sail past the famed Blue Grotto, known for its crystal-clear waters that dance with sunlight, creating a mesmerizing play of light.
Next, we’ll continue to the Lion's Grotto, where a striking rock formation appears to guard the entrance. We’ll circle around the island’s majestic western promontory to explore the northern side, home to hidden coves and sea caves—including the Monk’s Grotto, a serene spot carved by erosion and surrounded by lush vegetation like oak, myrtle, and dwarf palm trees.
Our adventure continues along the San Nicola Arcella coast, where we’ll take in the dramatic beauty of Arcomagno, a natural stone arch framing a fairytale bay. We'll also glide past the natural harbor of San Nicola Arcella and the historic Crawford Tower, named after the writer Francis Marion Crawford, who once found inspiration in this idyllic setting.
And that’s not all—throughout the cruise, we’ll pass other local gems such as Zuongolo Bay, the Ear of Francidormo, Punta Dino, and Carpino Bay, which marks the border between San Nicola Arcella and Scalea.
Finally, we’ll anchor for a 45-minute stop in the beautiful Saracen Bay, where you can swim, relax, or simply soak up the surroundings.
After between 2 and 4 unforgettable hours exploring Calabria’s coastal wonders, we'll return to the starting point.

When you make your reservation, you can choose from which of the following points you would like to start the tour:
- Scalea: Lido il Tramonto, located at the following address: Via Attilio Pepe, 87029, Scalea, Italy.
- Diamante: Diamante train station.
Please note that the tour from Diamante includes the roundtrip ticket to Scalea and the shuttle bus transportation from Scalea station and the pier. After booking, we’ll contact you to let you know the train departure time.
Also, please note that if you book the tour from Scalea, the total duration of the tour will be 2 hours, as this option does not include any train or bus rides.
