Tour Details
We’ll meet in front of the Tours Tourist Office at the scheduled time and travel by minibus toward Vouvray. There, we’ll discover one of the Loire Valley’s most important wine regions along the banks of the Loire River.
We’ll stop at a family-run estate in the area, where we’ll visit the traditional vat room before heading into the underground cellars. These tunnels were originally carved out in the 10th century to extract stone and are now used as ideal wine cellars for production and aging. You’ll learn about every stage of the winemaking process and enjoy a wine tasting to refine your palate.
The experience continues in the Amboise area, where a second tasting awaits. Here, we’ll explore the diversity of wines produced in this part of the valley: whites, rosés, reds, and sparkling wines, each with its own character and story. Throughout the tour, we’ll share insights to help you better understand the richness of this terroir and the variety of Loire Valley wines.
Finally, we’ll head back to Tours, arriving at the starting point after a total of four and a half hours.
