On this motorcycle tour with built-in sidecar, we'll depart from Tours to discover the history of the Loire Valley in a very retro way. It'll be an unforgettable ride!
When you make your reservation, you can opt for one of the following tours. All tours start at the indicated time in front of the Tours Tourist Office, and include a guide and transport on a retro-style motorcycle with sidecar.
On this motorcycle sidecar tour we'll ride through the historic centre of Tours, one of the most outstanding cities in the Loire River Valley.
During the route, we'll see the imposing gothic cathedral of Saint-Gatien. We'll also stop at the towers of Charlemagne and the Clock, two vestiges of the ancient basilica of St. Martin. We'll continue our motorcycle tour of Tours at Place Plumerau, considered one of the most beautiful squares in France. Here, we'll also see its traditional half-timbered houses.
Schedule: Daily from 9 am to 6 pm.
If you choose this option, you'll first take the one-hour tour of the historic centre of Tours described in the previous section.
Then, we'll go to the wine-growing area of Vouvray to see its extensive vineyards. In these cultivated fields we'll see the vines where the grapes grow, the raw material of the extraordinary wines of the Loire Valley. We'll learn to distinguish the different types of grapes and, finally, we'll return to the meeting point in Tours.

The vehicles will be driven at all times by the guide. Each motorcycle has a maximum capacity of 2 passengers: one on the motorcycle behind the guide and one in the sidecar.
