At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Ushuaia and head north. After only 30 minutes on the road, we'll arrive at the start of our hiking route. Here, we'll set off on an incredible hiking route around Tierra del Fuego.
During the walk, we'll cover a total of 10 km (6.2 miles) climbing 800 metres (2,640 feet). We'll take several breaks to calmly enjoy the captivating surrounding landscapes. The first stop on our route, which will be after about 1 hour, will be the famous Turquoise Lagoon.
Do you know why this lagoon has this characteristic colour? We'll find out why as you take photos and admire the tranquillity of the natural area. You'll love it!
Afterward, we'll continue hiking to the top of Mount Carbajal. At this peak, at 950 metres (3,110 feet) above sea level, we'll pause for a picnic-style lunch with a hot drink in the perfect mountainous landscape.
Next, we'll begin the descent through the Ollum Valley, an area characterized by its numerous streams and lush vegetation.
Finally, we'll take our route back to the vehicle that will take us back to Ushuaia. We expect to arrive back at your hotel after about 6.5 hours.
