Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll begin this free tour of Viña del Mar from the Miramar metro station exit. Are you ready to explore the city? Although we won't enter any museum, palace, or monument, we'll admire their architecture from outside and learn about their history.
First, we'll head to the Brunet Castle to marvel at this spectacular Romanticism palace from the outside, whose architecture is inspired by European medieval fortresses. After learning about its history, we'll head to the Reloj de Flores (Flower Clock), one of Viña del Mar's main icons.
Afterward, we'll walk toward the Wulff Castle to admire this impressive palace on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. From there, we'll continue our route passing other iconic sites such as the Viña del Mar Casino, the Iglesia de los Padres Carmelitas, and the Fonck Museum. At the main entrance of the museum, you'll see a moai statue from Easter Island.
Our next stop will be at the emblematic Palacio Carrasco, which dates back to the beginning of the 20th century. Afterward, we'll head to the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores, the oldest church in Viña del Mar.
Finally, after approximately 3 hours, we'll conclude this free tour in front of the Palacio Vergara, where you'll observe the Venetian Neo-Gothic architecture of this stunning building, now home to a museum of paintings. This site is considered one of the main picture galleries in Chile!
