During the booking process, you can choose between a canyoning for beginners or a more advanced course. In each case, the activity will start and conclude at the Comisión de Tránsito de Bucay. Below, you can read what each option entails:
This option is suitable for the whole family to enjoy. From the meeting point, we'll commence our 10-minute hike through the upper part of the forest until we reach La Isabella, one of the largest waterfalls in Bucay.
At this stage, we'll give you some safety instructions before we commence our adventure. Are you ready? With all your safety gear on, you'll make your descent down this 30-metre (100-foot) waterfall.
After that thrilling experience, we'll return to the meeting point where we'll say our goodbyes.
For this option, previous experience is required. Over the course of the activity, we'll take on 4 different waterfalls. We'll head from the meeting point directly to the high point of the forest, before walking for 10 minutes to the highest waterfall in Bucay - the Esperanza Alta.
We'll then begin our canyoning adventure, starting from the smallest and saving the largest for the finale. Afterwards, we'll take a dip in the natural pools in the Ecuadorian forest. Bliss!
