The experience will begin at the MUSA - Museo del Sale, an extraordinary ethnographical museum dedicated to the salt-making tradition of Cervia. It's time to discover this museum in depth!
The ticket to the museum will allow you to explore the history, techniques, and crafts that have shaped the city of Cervia for centuries. Did you know that inside, you'll find the Magazzino del Sale Torre? This is a magnific example of industrial construction where the valuable "white gold" was stored in the past.
After visiting the museum, the experience will continue in a former salt warehouse that has been turned into a modern and functional space. Here, a delicious apéritif that includes a tasting of typical products, a true tribute to the area's gastronomical tradition.
To finish on a high note, you'll try the "Bandito" gin, a unique beverage made with the prized Salfiore di Romagna, the fleur de sel of the salt mines of Cervia.
The self-guided tour of the salt museum will take approximately 2 hours.
The Museo del Sale via is open from Monday to Sunday from 8:30 pm to 11 pm.
Please note that on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, you can access the scenic room of the San Michele Tower, where you'll enjoy the spectacular views of the sea, Cervia's historic center, and the hills of Romagna. The climb up the tower is possible between 8:30 pm and 11 pm.
