Private Flight Details
Our adventure will begin at the designated time at the Comandante Armando Tola International Airport in Calafate. After a brief introduction, we'll head to the runway where we'll climb on board an aircraft that will take us to fly over one of the most impressive landscapes in South America. Are you excited? We can't blame you!
Once we've taken off, we'll see the town of El Calafate on the shores of Lago Argentino, one of the limits of the Los Glaciares National Park. As the flight continues, you'll admire the Cerro Wilche and Cerros Calafate, two mountains that rise over 4921 feet (1500 meters) high. Get your camera ready!
We'll continue our journey in search of the southern end of Lago Argentino, where you'll marvel at the Bahía Redonda before we fly over the Ruta Provincial 15 motorway. Here, you'll see some historic sites such as Anita, Chorrillo Malo, and Lago Roca, which preserve the essence of the culture and development of the El Calafate region.
The scenery will start to change as we reach the heart of Los Glaciares National Park. We'll switch from arid landscapes to lush Andean forests as the Lago Roca and Lago Rico extend under our feet.
From a bird's eye view, you'll admire the valley of the Río Mitre as we head to Punta Bandera and Cerro Castillo, iconic sites that will be worth every photo that you take. The most anticipated moment will arrive as we soar over the famous Perito Moreno Glacier. From above, the ice blocks will create breathtaking scenery, completely different from what you've seen from the ground.
To finish our aircraft ride, we'll return to El Calafate passing by the birthplace of the Santa Cruz River before we land at the airport, where we'll say our goodbye after 1 hour.
