Have you ever been to a bar made of ice? El Calafate's Yeti Ice Bar offers an original experience in a freezing, but pleasing atmosphere – you'll feel like you're in a real igloo!
Yeti Ice Bar
Will you brave the cold for a unique experience in El Calafate's first ice bar? We'll be ready and waiting for you in the Yeti Ice Bar!
When you arrive, you'll go into the first room, the Warm Bar, where you'll start to notice the polar theme in its decoration. When we move on to the next room, the temperature will drop to 5 degrees. It's getting cold, isn't it?
Here, a member of the Ice Bar team will give you layers and gloves to protect you from the freezing temperatures that await you. When you're ready, you'll venture into the Yeti cave!
Brrrr... it's minus 10 degrees. It's a good thing we're wrapped up warm! The floor, the walls, and even the bar are made of ice. You can spend 25 minutes taking pictures next to the Yeti sculpture and enjoy a drink (if you've chosen general admission) or an open bar (if you've selected Open Bar admission). On the menu, you'll even find vodka and other liqueurs made in El Calafate! All this is accompanied by juggling acts by the waiters and music that adds a warm touch to this Ice Bar.
When you leave the cave, you can stay in the Warm Bar as long as you want, enjoying a wide range of cocktails and sushi.

The Ice Bar opens Monday to Sunday, 4:30 pm to midnight. The warm bar also closes at midnight.
