After picking you up at your hotel in El Calafate, we'll embark on a 45-minute journey to Los Glaciares National Park. Let's go!
As we drive along the road towards the mountains, the turquoise waters of Lake Argentino will sparkle on our right and, if we're lucky, we'll be able to spot condors gliding over the rocky cliffs in the area. The breathtaking landscapes will astound and captivate you!
Once inside this Patagonian enclave, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the vegetation will change from flowering calafates to lengas and coihues covered in moss.
There, you'll have 3.5 hours of free time to stroll along the panoramic walkways, from where you can admire the famous Perito Moreno Glacier. Before your eyes, this giant ice formation will rise up 30 km (19 mi) high, and stretch 5 km (3.1 mi) wide, and with walls almost 70 m (229 ft) high. It's jaw dropping from any angle!
During your visit, you'll be completely mesmerized by the blue color of the glacier and, at times, you'll hear the ice crackling as it constantly shifts. In the meantime, you can enjoy the included picnic lunch, with regional cold cuts, salad, and wine. What restaurant has better views?

We'll learn how to properly seed the grass while watching the sunset paint the Andean peaks purple.
Finally, we'll return to your hotel, where we'll say goodbye 8.5 hours after picking you up.
