Visit the Hacienda Cachigaga hacienda and admire views of the beautiful Tomayquichua Valley on our day trip from Huánuco. You'll also learn all about the customs and traditions of the picturesque village of Tomayquichua.
At your chosen time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Huánuco. We'll board our minibus and travel to one of the most picturesque villages in this region: Tomayquichua.
When we arrive we'll see its famous wishing well, so get thinking of what you'd like to wish for! While we're in Tomayquichua, we'll also visit the Hermitage of María Causa de Nuestra Alegría, a place of prayer where miracles that have taken place here are remembered.
From here, we'll travel to the Hacienda Cachigaga. At this large rural farm we'll learn how the trapiche, a mill used to extract juice from sugar canes, is used to make delicious drinks. We'll try some of these tasty products and then head to the House of María Micaela Villegas y Hurtado de Mendoza. This Peruvian actress, better known as "La Perricholi", had a remarkable life with some unusual events that we'll discuss during our visit.
After a 4-hour day trip, we'll return to your hotel in Huanuco.
