Following the course of the Santa River, we'll head north of the Callejón de Huaylas. During the trip, we'll pass by the Blanca and Negra mountain ranges, the buried town of Yungay, and the Llanganuco ravine. One of the most amazing sights we'll see along the way will be the views of the Chinancocha and Orconcocha lagoons, also known as the Llanganuco lagoons!
Once at the Portachuelo viewpoint, we'll enjoy incredible views of the main mountains of the Blanca mountain range, such as north and south Huascaran, Huandoy, Chopicalqui, Pisco, or Yanapaccha!
We'll begin the 2-hour trekking route by descending through the mountains. Midway through the trail, we'll make a stop to rest and admire the waterfalls in the park!
Finally, we'll finish the trekking route in Cebollapampa, where the minibus will be waiting for us. The excursion will finish around 5 pm.
