The Parnaíba Delta is one of the most fascinating ecosystems in Brazil, and in the world. If you’d like to discover it, we’ll pick you up at your hotel to begin a boat trip through some of its most remarkable spots.
Once everyone is ready, we’ll board the boat and leave the port behind to navigate the waters of one of the largest open-sea deltas on the planet. This estuary, which naturally separates the states of Piauí and Maranhão, is made up of dozens of channels, islands, and streams, creating a truly stunning landscape.
As we cruise through this maze of waterways, you’ll learn fascinating facts about its biodiversity. Mangroves and golden sand dunes provide shelter for rich wildlife, including herons, scarlet ibises, capybaras, and even caimans.
During the day, we’ll stop at Ilha dos Poldros, where you’ll have free time to relax on its beach. Then we’ll get back on the boat and continue sailing to Caída do Morro, one of the most impressive dunes in the Parnaíba Delta. You’ll be able to walk along it and enjoy unforgettable views.
To make sure you’re well looked after, a delicious meal will be served on board, including a tasting of traditional crab, perfect for recharging your batteries.
Finally, we’ll continue the boat journey back to the starting point. The tour will end with drop-off at your hotel 7.5 hours after pickup.
