We’ll head to the pier to board the boat and begin exploring the delta, searching for the many animals that awaken at night.
During the ride, we’ll observe local wildlife and their nocturnal habits, spotting snakes, capybaras, rodents, lizards, and nocturnal birds. We’ll also see the fascinating jacarés, the alligators of the Parnaíba Delta. Using flashlights, we’ll catch the glow of their eyes in the dark, it’s truly mesmerizing!
We’ll also take in the magical nighttime scenery of the mangroves, where the atmosphere feels enchanting and mystical. Along the way, you’ll learn all about this unique ecosystem, one of South America’s most important natural environments.
