Day Trip Details

If you're in Parnaíba, you can't miss one of the most special nature spectacles in the state of Piauí: the Revoada dos Guarás. At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel and head to the pier to board a boat to sail along the Parnaíba delta.

For approximately 50 minutes, we'll learn many facts about this natural reserve while sailing. Along the journey through the Parnaíba River, you'll enjoy the incredible views of the mangroves and bays. You'll also see many different species of animals in its surroundings!

Our first stop will be at Ilha das Canárias, an island of the Parnaíba delta famous for its desert beaches and dunes. It's a place of unparalleled beauty! From here, you'll have unique scenic views of another of the most iconic places in the region: the Bahía do Caju. You'll have free time to take a walk, explore its trails, and even take a dip in the beach.

After this stop, we'll continue sailing to enjoy the Revoada dos Guarás, a magical moment where hundreds of scarlet ibis fly over the mangroves at sunset to return to their refuges. You'll see how the sky turns red! Plus, we'll tell you fascinating facts about this bird species. Did you know their intense red color is due to their diet?

Finally, under the last rays of daylight, we'll start our journey back to the starting pier and drop you off at your hotel after 4.5 hours.
